HOT CREEK

Hot Creek is located in the central caldera and flows from the SW to the NE. The hottest surficial water in the caldera can be found in Hot Creek gorge. The image below is taken looking to the west at the Sierran front and Mt. McGee.

Below is an image of the hottest pool at Hot Creek. This pool lies to the west of the creek which is to the right of the creek in the above image.
